家政学部生活科学科生活科学専攻では、和裁を基礎から学び専門高校にも対応できる家庭科教員の養成を行っています。平成29年度「十二単」、平成30年度「束帯」、令和元年度「采女」を共同製作しました。伝統衣装の製作と着付けを通して技術の修得と、伝統文化を継承させたいと思います。第３段として「束帯」の着装を英語版にしてみました。令和元年１０月22日の「即位の礼」では、天皇だけが身に付けられる束帯装束「黄櫨染御袍（こうろぜんのごほう）」を着用されました。（児玉）

①小袖に帯を巻き、しとうずという親指の分かれていない足袋をはきます。
Wrap an obi on a kosode. Put on a tabi that doesn't have a thumb divided called "shitouzu".

②右手から袖を通し、背筋と肩山線を正して衵(あこめ)を着ます。
Align spine and shoulder line, before putting your sleeve through akome from your right hand. An akome is a kind of underwear.

③右開きに袴をさばき、右足より踏み込み腰まで引き上げます。袴紐を左脇で立片鉤三段結びにし、結びは袴の中に入れます。
The open side is right and put on a hakama from your right foot. Pull the hakama up to the waist, the hakama strings tie one-sided ring three-stage knot on the left flank. The knot is put in the hakama.


④表袴をはき、その中に衣紋襞をとって身幅を調節した衵の後身を入れます。③で着た袴が裾口から約一寸出る腰位置で袴紐を廻し、右脇で立片鉤三段結びにする。結びを表袴の内側に入れる。
Put on the outer hakama and put the back of akome which adjusted the width the tucks in. Hakama of ③ wrap round the string at a position about 3 centimeter out of the hem. Make the string a three-stage one-sided ring knot with the right flank. Put the knot of the string inside the outer hakama.

⑤下襲を着る。両脇線・背中心・肩山線を正し、前身と後身で襞をとり、紐で結ぶ。
Wear layers the sitagasane like the hitoe and akome. Properly align the both sides, the back-center lines, and the shoulder top line. Pleat in front body and
back body. Make a temporary knot with a braid.



⑥袍を肩にかけ手を通し、両前身頃をかきあわせ、ととのえる。
Put hou over your shoulder and put your both hand through each sleeve. Align both front bodies properly. Hou=outerwear

⑦はこえを内側に入れて正し、その両端を平行にもち上げる。上前と下前の衽線が中心で正しく重なるようにする。
Put the hakoe in inward and left both ends in parallel. As the okumi lines in front of the upper and inside front overlap at the center, the front body is made assuming the length.
A hakoe is the part that made the back waist of Houekinoho a bag shape.
A houekinoho is an outerwear that is sewn armpit and made it easier to walk
with a cloth on the hem.

⑧石帯の本体に上手を上から下に貫き通す。石帯の紐を本結びにする。石帯の上手の先は中央寄りにする。
Through uwade from top to bottom on the body of sekitai and string of sekitai makes reef knot (米:square knot). Tip of uwade makes center closer.
A sekitai is a black leather obi decorated with stones etc and consist of the belt that covered on top of say "Uwade"


⑨平緒を用いて飾剣をつける。石帯の上に重ねるようにして前に廻す。
Use the hirao to attach the sword of the ornament.
The width of the hirao folds into three pieces, so that it is in the shape of "の".
Turn to overlap it on a Sekitai. A hirao is braided string of wide flat

⑩平緒を前中心で結ぶ。
Tie the hirao in the front center.
